Grace Kelly, vintage couture and the V and A

What great timing. As a season of hard edges, tough chic and studs etc gives way to soft fabrics, colours and prettiness, this April the Victoria and Albert Museum will be displaying the wardrobe of Grace Kelly, who many will agree epitomises femininity. The exhibition will feature haute couture dresses by the likes of Christian Dior, Givenchy, Balenciaga and Yves Saint Laurent as well as the lace ensemble she wore at her wedding to Prince Rainier. As a vintage obsessive, the thought of those incredible gowns... (cue girly squeal). I can't wait! Oh and for those who didn't know, we sell a capsule collection of specially selected vintage pieces in our South Molton Street store. From original Herve Leger to Azzedine Alaia and more. A new delivery is expected very soon. For more details call the store on 020 7514 0000.
