Don't you think Nicholas Kirkwood's shoes look like an illustration?

I love the detail on the Balenciaga jacket!

Wow! Yesterday afternoon, we had such an exciting in store event for the launch of the ‘Future Collectables’ project - a collection of iconic pieces reissued /specially made for Browns by designers such as Burberry, Rick Owens Balenciaga and Christopher Kane. After months of hard work , it was wonderful to see it all come together and a great opportunity for all our clients to own a great piece of fashion history! Simultaneously we held the launch in our Dubai based pop up store in Ouanass store in Jumeirah Emirates Towers attended by our CEO Simon. Our launch at our Berlin pop up store was attended by our Buying Director Erin Mullaney.

Here in London, the launch was hosted by the designer of the moment – Erdem (his specially commissioned pieces barely touched the shop floor before they began to fly out). Absolutely everything is limited edition, and of course super collectable, hence the fashion frenzy that ensued when the doors opened! The Acne piece, a little black dress that can be worked night or day was a huge favourite.

Everyone who tried it on fell in love, unsurprisingly so as the unique cut and front panel design ensured everyone ended up with a super small waist.

I remember the fashion stampede when the Balenciaga blazer first hit the run way in AW07, the phones didn’t stop ringing. Now it's exciting just thinking that those who missed the boat then can now purchase the iconic school boy style jacket made exclusively for Browns. Hurry though - as with everthing else, there are not very many and once they are gone... well you know the rest! Enjoy the pics! xx
