Up & coming artist Tom Owen featured at the One Off Exhibition to Launch the second issue of Uncanny Magazine last night

Last night was the one and only night to see a rather special exhibition featuring the work of Artist Tom Owen amongst others. We were particularly memerised by his work and managed to grab a quick chat with him. He said of his style that he primarly works with collage, painting and found images, his main preoccupotion being that of exploring the fragmentation of reality, such as re-presentations of forms of music, sound and colour into a muriad of dialogues that initiate a jostle of structure and materiality between its layers. A shifting of stories from the past into the present.

Tom has other solo shows coming up in London this year, which will definitely be worth a visit! See his website for details and contact www.tomowenpainting.co.uk/

This one off exhibition sat alongside the 2nd issue launch of Uncanny Magazine at the four corners gallery in Bethnal Green.
