As part of the Browns blogger style series, eponymous eyewear designer Moo has taken over the blog for a week. Keep your eyes peeled for new posts and enjoy!
I've never blogged before... but since Browns asked me... of course I couldn't say no.
Traveling has become a big part of my life since I was 12, when I started studying in the UK. Therefore I want to share my favourite places from different cities that I often visit...
Interiors, architectures, food, desserts and people are what fascinate me... and gradually became inspirations in my work.
I tend to express my lifestyle through my designs.
Tea drinking, desserts and Baroque interior details are pretty much the main theme for my current eyewear designs. Marcel Wanders' New Antique theory was the essential key that lead to me combining the Baroque porcelain with vintage eyewear frames.
Today I'm going to share my trip in LA in June with my 2 sisters.
We stayed at the SLS in Beverly Hills...
It was designed by Philippe Starck, whose work I always admire.
Marcel Wanders and Philppe Starck are both working for YOO design studio. So no wonder why I love everything at The SLS! :-)
I love the combination of surrealism and sophistication... The dessert bar was my favorite area!!
The Dessert Bar; it's like i'm in a cartoon world!! I love pink accents...
Here is The Bazaar (tapas) by José Andrés; here comes the food... (for tapas only... you need to go to the desserts bar for sweets!)
- Baked pumpkin with sour cream
Red light chair!!
Let's go up to the rooms; arm chairs with machine gun lamps...
Hey sistas!! Mew and Mai
MOO... under the LA sun!
I was wearing this pair of my own design... you can find it here at BROWNS FOCUS!
