Today I would like to share with you 3 of my favorite films from my favorite film director Pedro Almodóvar.

The first one is "All About My Mother" (Todo Sobre Mi Madre) (1999)

"Part of every woman is a mother/actress/saint/sinner. And part of every man is a woman."
A magnificent film, that deals with controversial subjects like transvestitism, faith, AIDS. The mood of the story is very melodramatic, but the bright colours, decoration in the scenes and the focus on the character's good humor create a contrast that doesn't allow the film to be depressing.

The next film is "High Heels" (Tacones Lejanos) (1991)

"A mother, a daughter, a lover.Relationships can be murder."
This film focuses on a conflict between a long-absent mother that chose her career as a famous singer over her daughter. As they reunite, starts a competition over a man and over professional success.

The last one is "Talk To Her" (Hable Con Ella) (2002)

A film about 2 men that stand vigil over 2 women in a coma. The film focuses in the difficulty of communication between sexes, loneliness and intimacy.

I'm sure that many of you already watched these films, but in case you didn't, you should definitely take some time to watch them because they are magnificent.
