I was invited by Ukrainian Fashion Week to meet their emerging talent. I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of truly talented designers that are out there that we've never heard about (sadly) here in the UK. Also Kiev has to be one of the most beautiful cities; it really resembles St Petersburg. My first meeting was with Ukrainian Vogue that will launch in a couple of months; we had a very fun tea where we talked about the new issue. Here I am with the beautiful senior fashion editor Julie Pelipas at a fashion show.

I am wearing a dress by a very cool Ukrainian designer Poustovit

Here are some more clothes from the Poustovit SS13 collection

Me in the Poustovit dress with Bionda Castana shoes

Natalie Joos and me went to a market to look at their traditional wear and memorabilia . So many amazing fabrics, textures and prints!

The market streets. There is a lot of beautiful graffiti. Such a great juxtaposition of the old and the new.

The incredible scenery of the St Andrew's Church where the market is

And the view from my hotel room at the Fairmont Hotel Pic

Off to bed for some more exploring tomorrow!

More from my trip to Kiev tomorrow!
