I have just returned from an unforgettably inspiring Mexican adventure. It started with the smog fuelled, dynamic cultural hub of Mexico City (otherwise known as DF), happy days spent foraging through local markets, learning about old Mayan traditions at The Anthropology Museum and sampling some of the most exquisite cuisine that the city had to offer, which has changed my perception of Mexican food forever.
Escaping the big smoke for the quaint colonial town of San Miguel de Allende was unbelievably fun and full of intrigue; was had a great time exploring the cobbled streets of one of Mexico's favourite artist hangouts. It was the perfect place to find Mexico's secret treasures, and especially good shopping for Art and Textiles. Onwards to an alternative Christmas spent surfing near Todos Santos, before venturing across the country to the pacific coast where a large group of friends convened for a New Years Party that won't quickly be forgotten.
Here's a snippet full of colour, joy and inspiring moments shot with thanks by my friend and photographer Marco Walker.
