We’ve got a confession to make. We’re just a little bit obsessed with new Parisian design team Wanda Nylon. Inspired by ‘Space Age’ transparent coats, this unisex outerwear is made from 99% recycled materials; carefully balancing the ‘innovative with the ecological’.
The pair behind the plastic capes are Johanna Senyk and Antwerp Academy-trained Peter Hornstein, who were both left feeling fashionably frustrated when they couldn’t find elegant and affordable PVC rainwear – and so Wanda Nylon was born.
Gracing the pages of WWD, Numéro and AnOther Magazine, the sartorial duo are already causing a (rainy) storm with the fashionably elite. Now, those April showers can’t be too far off….
