We're putting the finishing touches on the Spring | Summer 2014 collection today as we prepare to take it to Paris next week during Men's Fashion Week.
My time on Savile Row taught me many things, but the main thing I took from it is a true respect for the process of garment making in its most heightened sense.
With 1205, I build the collection from the yarns up. Many of the fabrics in the collection are fabrics I have developed with our mills in the UK, Switzerland or Italy, a collaborative process in its best form. There is no environment I am more at ease in than surrounded by weaving and finishing machines, cutting tables, and the highly skilled craftsmen that I so admire.
This coming season there are quite a few developments that I am particularly excited about, but until the full collection is revealed, here are some microscopic shots of some of the fabrics we have used in the past which I routinely upload on our Instagram account @1205studio
